Elopement in the mountains

This day was ALMOST perfect. We woke up really happy! It was a beautiful day, and we were going to be among friends. We also had a huge desire to get back to work. It was the first time we filmed and photographed at the same time. We wanted to create a beautiful symbiosis between video and photography. As we love to use the sound of the camera in our videos, we tried to approach the photography aspect a bit more seriously on this day. Although we still prefer filming, it's always good to try new things. Don't you agree?

The light was really golden, and Filipa & Afonso had such beautiful chemistry to be filmed/photographed that we were very excited. Additionally, we are fans of elopements. Although we haven't filmed many, the idea of just taking two people to celebrate love pleases us, especially when everything is done in such a relaxed way, with vows exchanged at sunset. People say that happiness is only real when shared, but we don't need to share it with everyone. Sometimes ONE person is enough! :)

We filmed/photographed until the last ray of light, and then Rui's distracted spirit descended to earth, and we realized that somewhere on that dark mountain, Rui's glasses were lost. Looking for glasses on a mountain without a single ray of sunlight can seem like a daunting task, and the truth is... it is really difficult! We couldn't find the glasses, so we decided to go home and order a pizza to soothe our hungry stomachs and lift our spirits! :)
